So Little Time, So Many Real Estate Gurus

With every passing day, more real estate investing tips spring up on the internet. The number of people who consider themselves to be “real estate gurus” is exploding, and each day sees the birthing of new websites and blogs related to real estate investing.

Not surprisingly, not everything you find on the internet is worthwhile - or even true. So with that in mind, we offer some thoughts about some available real estate investing resources. Note that we leave it to the reader to make their own judgments concerning the legitimacy of each resource:

* Terry Wygal is either a real estate investor or search engine optimization expert, depending on the day of the week. He teaches people how to submit videos to YouTube and other video services, and represents this as advanced technology to his clients.

* Bryan Ellis is an expert in marketing and real estate who focuses his website on helping real estate investors to understand how current events affect the real estate market. Ellis is a little unique among most of the “gurus” because his blog is genuinely news oriented, with relevant political and economic commentary.

* Gerald Romine has a software package for real estate investors that helps them complete complex paperwork and calculate offers. Romine’s program is not cheap - not even close - but the feature set is impressive.

More or less, all of these people are well known to real estate investors. However, fame does not constitute legitimacy or reliability. The reader is encouraged to take a closer look at these people and the resources they offer.
